How long does a felony stay on your record?

I went to visit my daughter in Jail here. I had to wait for about two hours. I was given a cardboard sign to hold up to a camera to tell them where I was going on the elevator - it is very intimidating for the visitors. I felt like I was locked up. The people were not rude - but the atmosphere is. I know that when I left I felt like I would never go back in that place - even to see my daughter! They make it difficult on purpose - I believe.

I hated going there to visit my dad.Because we only got 15 minutes with him.It gave me the creeps they should make it a little bit more comfortable there.I'm 12 years old and even I was dissapointed in that place.

I am sorry your experiences were so bad. I also believe thye should make the process better. It is like being in prison just to go visit someone.
