JM: How long was your sentencing for?
DC: 10 months. I served only 5 months because I was a
trustee.
Keith: One month here, two months there then another
month. I'm still fighting them while on BOND
PROBATION. $60 a month, $11 for UA's. They make
around $250,000 a month off of people on bond.
Most of us are their own TAXPAYERS.
Joe: 10 years.
Heidi: 6 months
Dillon: Was never sentanced.
JM: Did you spend time in a holding cell after your sentencing? If so, what was that like?
DC: Imagine being in a closet with the lights on. It
was that small. I was in there alone, so it wasn't
too bad, though.
Keith: They have holding cells all through their
system. They are clean because they don't want
attention from the Texas Comission on Jail
Standards. All the jails are freezing cold.
While TAXPAYERS are sweating their butts off at
home they're paying taxes to keep the jails
around 60*F.
Joe: i once spent a calendar year in jail,you just have
to get your mind set to do it,you got no other choice.
Heidi: yes, very cramped and emotionally draining
Dillon: No went right back up to pod.

my daughter is in tarrant county jail for probation violation she was on probation for unautorized use of auto for 3 years she violated by not reporting to her P O and failing drug test for weed she has been in jail 3 months she was givin a court appointed attorney and so far she didnt show up for her first plea hearing and the 2nd plea hearing she showed up at the last minute but she had not even talked tp the procecutor before court so when she got there he said 15 months state jail so she set it off for a hearing which is the 5th of october the lawyer said the best she could get her is 12 months state jail and she said my daughter has to basically suck it up ..she has not returned my calls she has never once went to the jail to see my daughter, her paralegal is rude to me, and just does not care. i have spoken to other attorneys and they say they can get her time served but i cannot afford them. Is it possible to have her fire this attorney and have the court appoint her another one....and if she can, is that a good or bad idea? Does anyone know of any attorney that can help me out and would be willing to work out a payment plan?

OK MY BABY IS IN GREEN BAY RIGHT NOW. HE HAD JUST GOT OUT OF JAIL A MONTH WHEN THEY PICKED HIM BACK UP FOR A DOPE CHARGE AND A BURGULARY CHARGE. HE WAS ALREADY ON 3YRS PROBATION FOR A DOPE CHARGE ALREADY. HOW LONG WILL THEY KEEP MY BABY?? PLEASE SOMEONE LET ME KNO IM LOST WITHOUT HIM HES 17 ABOUT TO TURN 18.

I KNO EXACTLY WAT U GOIN THRU. MY AND MY BABY WAS LIKE BONNIE AND CLYDE.HE GOT LOCKED UP AND I HAD GOT AWAY LAST MONTH. HE IN MANSFIELD RIGHT NOW. THE CHARGING HIM WITH STOLE CAR EVADING ARREST AND RESISTING ARREST. AND HE WAS ALREADY ON PROBATION TOO. I LOVE MY BABY AND IM LOST RIGHT NOW WITHOUT HIM TOO. AND HE 17 JUST LIKE YOURS. IDK HOW LONG BUT JUST PRAY AND TRY TO PUT SOME MONEY ON HIS BOND. I WANT TO KNO HOW LONG THEY KEEPIN MY BABY BUT I CANT FIND OUT NOTHIN EITHER.

How long does it usually take to see a judge after your areinment

You will usually see a judge and receive your first plea somewhere around 2 weeks.
